For over 35 years, founder Ruth Yvonne Kingg-Weh has provided assistance to children, both in the US and in her home country of Liberia, in pursuit and realization of their educational goals.  Over the years, “Ms. Ruth” as some call her, has sponsored school tuition and other needed resources for numerous children and families; with the goal of ensuring that all children and adults have the opportunity achieve higher education.  Ms. Ruth was a champion of education empowerment and sustainability. Her goal has always centered around enriching the lives of young people through learning (and ultimately the communities).  She believe that the most vulnerable amongst us deserved a second chance; that they deserve advocacy and that through education and commitment we can strengthen families.   Ms. Ruth fought unceasingly for those directly impacted by both "system and circumstance".  Her legacy continues through her children, who continue to push for educational excellence for all children. 

Ruth’s vision, through the JBZK Resource Center Foundation,  is to create an environment where girls and boys are able to reach their full learning potential…….

In that, our mission expands beyond education, to include advocacy for underserved populations which directly affect our communities.  We fight for families of systems involved individuals, through advocacy, education and resource sharing.  In all that we do as a society our goal is to let each one teach one!
